The Difference Between PVC, PP, UPVC Valves

Material composition:

PVC (polyvinyl chloride) : is a common plastic that has good corrosion resistance and is suitable for general purpose valves, especially in water supply and drainage systems.

PP (polypropylene) : With good chemical resistance, PP valves are a common choice for some applications that require high chemical stability, such as acid-base media treatment.

Corrosion resistance:

Selection of PP valves:

High corrosion resistance: PP has good corrosion resistance to chemical substances such as acid and alkali, and is suitable for environments requiring high corrosion resistance.

High impact resistance requirements: In some applications where high impact resistance is required, PP valves may be a suitable choice.

Medium temperature environment: PP performs better at medium temperature and is suitable for general temperature environment.

Selection of UPVC valves:

High temperature environment: UPVC has better heat resistance than ordinary PVC, and is suitable for some higher temperature working environments.
